It was 1993 and I'm in Bosnia covering the war; it's my first international assignment and with the experience gained from my Ba(Hons) in Film and Photography I shoot hundreds of gritty black and white images. The portfolio of pictures I produce awards me The Observer/Hodge Photographer of the Year which propels me into the industry. 

 

Since then I've shot international and national editorial features and advertising campaigns for clients including Adnams, The Sunday Times and Land Rover to name but a few. Even though some of my work takes me overseas my base is a studio set on the banks of the river Orwell in Suffolk with my lovely wife, three daughters, labrador, chickens.....you get the picture! No job is too far or too close.
